to have a shell (python for example) for implementing biomechanical algorithms
and having a direct interaction with the displaying
15 votesIt’s been a while without any news for this feature. However, it is now officially started. More details on this webpage: http://code.google.com/p/b-tk/wiki/MokkaPythonScriptingDraft

Still looking for the best way to do that. However, from first tests it is now possible to draw vectors over the video (yeah!) and based on the Tsai calibration method, the transformation between the camera coordinates and the world coordinates can be found only using the corners of the force plate (see QtCalib for an example: http://w3.impa.br/~zang/qtcalib/nochess.html).
This was the main concerns to implement or not this idea. Now there is still minor problems (user interface for the calibration, storage of this calibration, calibration adatapted to the size of the view, etc.), but this idea will be definitively implemented in Mokka. -
create a movie from view-panel
it's would be more user-friendly than freeware like 'camrecorder'
5 votesMokka 0.6 will have an export function to create an image sequence from a selected 3D view. From this image sequence you can create a movie with for example the cross-platform software avidemux (http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/). Note: even if a dialog box will be on top of Mokka, you will be able to interact with the 3D view (to zoom, rotate, etc). It this implementation is enough for you, I will close this ticket.

Posibility to calculate the length of a specific marker between events and the time spend
The idea it is to measure the stride of each limb and the time of any stride

To have the possibility to create local coordinate systems from markers
to view (RGB colors) the local coordinate systems in 3D view and to view the movement of them during motion

I don’t know the way to do this (have you to use Vicon iQ?) and Mokka is not (yet?) adapted to support the recording of data (circle buffer … as well as the visualization of realtime data. However It will be great to be able to plug Mokka to existing acquisition systems!

Export to bvh format
WOuld be nice to have the possibility to, for ecample, read c3d file and export motion data to bvh format.

The support of the BVH file format will be available only when the notion of “biomechanical model” will be fully implemented in Mokka. The core of the “Models” module is already implemented, but the user interface still needs to be modified in consequence. This will take time.

Have the possibility to view and plot the metadata in a specific window
(not linked to "points" number of frames)
For example, if a store as a metadata the kinematics and/or kinetics parameters of a gait (normalized in % of gait cycle), I would likt to plot these data in a 0->100% graphs.1 vote
